Professional Audio Designs has designed and installed audio systems for others since 1985. Its market was primarily the Midwest region. When a much larger East Coast company adopted the Professional Audio Design name, there was concern that it would expand into the Midwest and create confusion. Attorney Sokol obtained U.S. Registration No. 2,108,176 to protect his client’s rights to its company name and logo. The East Coast company now operates under a different name.
